Martin Hayes

Martin began his working life in Manhattan, New York within the travel sector. For over five years he was part of a growing team focussed on delivering a high standard of customer service within the call centre sector. Within those years Martin became part of the lead team for the management of over 40 employees. 

On his return to Ireland in 1999 he continued in the travel industry here but could see this sector was struggling and began looking for alternative opportunities. With a background in sales and marketing, a keen knowledge of customer and client service and an eye for an opening, it wasn’t long before he had made the decision to launch Direct to Market Ltd with Liz McGonigal.

Since PIVOTAL (DTM) has been up and running, we have strived to grow, deliver and expand.  Pivotal is fortunate with the quality of clients we work with, the exceptional team and colleagues we have in place, and the work ethos we bring to the table.  It is with the added service to our clients of traditional and online PR, under the new identity of PIVOTAL Communications, that we aim to continue the growth well into the future.

Likes: Daughter, rugby, golf and wife (but not necessarily in that order!)

Dislikes: Lack of sleep, Munster rugby losses and a bad game of golf (thankfully, not all as frequent as the latter!)
